North Brunswick broke a 37-year senior premiership drought when they defeated Parkside by 36 points at Garvey Oval.

The Bulls, who had beaten the Red Devils three times this season prior to the game, opened with four goals to two before piling on another 11 goals to seven in the final three terms.

Brendon George was unstoppable up forward with five goals taking his season tally to 67 from 14 games, while Chris Bateman was named best afield.

They will now enter Division 3 for the first time in 18 years with a flag draped around their neck. No results had been submitted for Parkside at time of publication.
