This Saturday, Kew Football Club will be hosting their second annual Ladies’ Lunch in commemoration of Danny Delbridge, father of two current players and a club legend in his own right, who passed away in 2013 after being diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. The event was a smashing success in 2015, where the legendary player, coach and now vital figurehead for the fight against MND, Neale Daniher was a special guest, with well over $12,000 being raised for MND Victoria and Cure for MND.ladies' lunch

This year all proceeds raised on the day and the subsequent night will be donated to the Cancer Council to show support and solidarity for a former player who is currently battling cancer, and the myriad of brave cancer patients and survivors across Australia who need our ongoing assistance. The event will feature live musical guests, very special guest speakers, a wonderful three-course lunch put on by Fat Penguin café in Kew, drinks and the opportunity to share in a wide range of prizes for just $85 a head. In conjunction with this, the mighty Kew Bears will be taking Ormond in a Grand Final rematch from2PM.
