Gameday (SportsTG) Statement

The VAFA’s competition management system Gameday (SportsTG) has provided a statement in response to issues surrounding access to live scores and results over the first four rounds of the VAFA season.

Gameday (SportsTG) Statement:

Last weekend, Gameday (SportsTG) saw quite a peak with a large increase in the way the platform was used.

We increased our server capacity prior to last weekend but it ultimately was not enough as a number of leagues started their competitions which again increased the number of users (mainly Western Australia because they were delayed due to COVID).

This caused significant issues with the results and live scores for all competitions.

Moving forward from this weekend, we have once again increased server capacity, we have increased the number of server instances to speed up publish to webs and distribution of media reports and our Tech team will be monitoring the usage of the platform over the weekend to ensure we do not have a repeat.
