Peter Hutchinson – 300 Club

In his playing time with Power House (363 games) there’s very little Peter failed to achieve at both club level and with the VAFA.

Playing mainly at Centre Half Forward and as a Ruckman, Peter won a total of seven Senior Club Best and Fairest gongs including being Captain on six occasions.

He played in the 1971 Premiership side, and was also a member of the famous Immortals  The Immortals sounds more like a blockbuster movie, starring Russell Crowe, but in the annuls of the Power House club this team  won the 1959 Premierships.

These on-field awards were only the start of ‘This is your Life – Peter Hutchinson’.

At VAFA level he was made a Life Member, plus being awarded a Certificate of Merit Award in 1984,and later selected as a VAFA Legend.

For his services to Power House, Peter was elected to Legend status in 2011.
