Marcellin has announced, Glenn Cox, will continue in his role as senior coach into the 2019 Premier C season.

Making the announcement on the club’s website, Marcellin wrote “Glenn is keen to continue his great work developing a very young squad that will build stability and long-term success at the club”.

Cox returned to the Eagles following the departure of Jarrod Carlson last season and led his young side to nine wins and fifth spot on the ladder despite being plagued by a host of injuries.

This is Cox’s second coaching stint with Marcellin after first taking the reins in 2008.

A three-time premiership player (A, B and C sections), captain, club B&F winner and Woodrow Medallist (200), Cox is highly regarded at Marcellin by both players and supporters and has shown outstanding loyalty and commitment to the club over many years.
