Men’s Rising Star Nominee: Jonathon Aujard

Posted on - Latest News, Featured, Old Scotch

Congratulations to Old Scotch’s Jonathon Aujard who has been named the Round 5 Men’s Rising Star on the back of his one goal and standout performance in the Cardinals’ 45-point win over Mazenod.

What the Club said:

“Jonathan started playing at Old Scotch Football Club this season after playing for Glen Iris JFC and Oakleigh Chargers. He has quickly established himself a spot in the senior team for Old Scotch.

The AFL player he believes he most plays like is Lachie Whitfield from the GWS Giants. Jonathan’s strengths as a footballer are aerobic capacity, football smarts and kicking plus playing his role in the team set-up.

He is a happy and enthusiastic young man but at the same time hard working. Jonathan’s dad Rohan played 250 games and won a best and fairest during his playing career at Old Scotch Football Club.

We are all hoping that Jonathan can have a distinguished playing career as his father did at Old Scotch Football Club.”
