The VAFA community will celebrate its annual Woodrow Medal and Awards Night at Crown Casino’s River Room later today.

A completely player focused event, the night will countdown every vote from all 18 rounds of William Buck Premier and crown the 2015 Woodrow Medallist.

Furthermore, the league best and fairests from each section will be presented their medallions, as well as the Premier Coaches MVP Award and Club Warehouse Rising Star winner.

VAFA umpires will also be recognised, with the Most Promising Umpire and Umpire of the Year Awards presented throughout the night.

Capping off an action-packed event, the VAFA’s Worst Dressed Man will be unveiled after undergoing a makeover thanks to Cambridge Kit.

For all those attending, the night will commence at 6:30pm and the dress code is lounge suit.

96.5 Inner FM will be broadcasting every vote from 7pm so for those unable to attend, tune in and listen to Michael Crooks, John Kanis and Ken Petruco.

Tickets are SOLD OUT so a fantastic night is to be had by all.

The Woodrow Medal and Awards Night kicks off an exciting week in the VAFA, with the William Buck Grand Final Lunch on Friday and all three Premier sections playing their grand finals this weekend.
