South Melbourne Districts search for new senior coach

South Melbourne Districts are on the search for a new senior coach following the resignation of Gary March this week.

March, who has led the Swans since 2015, has stood aside due to increasing demands on the business front.

Swans President Tony Pilimon said senior assistant Coach Adam Bermingham will formally take the reigns and he’ll be assisted by reserves coach Ryan Chirgwin.

“Jack Eastman (c) and Jordy Heis (vc) will both play roles in the coming weeks as we commence our search for a new senior coach,” Pilimon said.

The Swans are in their 105th year as a football club in 2017 and introduced a female team as part of the inaugural VAFA women’s competition this year.
