West Brunswick AFC is thrilled to announce the appointment of Will Dillon to the position of senior men’s coach for 2023.

Will has played at West Brunswick since 2015, where in his first year he played in the 2015 Premiership side. Since 2017, Will has led the club as senior men’s co-captain alongside David Ferrier. He was named on the wing and as vice-captain in the 2010 – 2019 WBAFC Team of the Decade. Will’s leadership at the club over the past many years – both on the ground and off – has been integral to driving club-wide success at West Brunswick.

Will’s coaching credentials were on show in 2022 as part of the panel which guided the senior men’s side to the grand final, and secured promotion to Division 1 in the VAFA in 2023.

The club is confident that he will continue to grow and excel in the position of senior playing coach in our upcoming season.

Will is going to be supported by Polly Fletcher and Bill Irving as assistant coaches, and, in exciting news for the club, Louis Martin will return in a gameday support role.

The variety of strengths and experience of the coaching team, and the continuity it offers to our recent successes, is a wonderful result for the club, and we can’t wait to see the results on field.
