For the final time in 2023, Joe Pignataro and Josh Heriot bring you For The Love of the Game.

Recapping an enthralling 2023 season, there was moment after moment across the VAFA competition that left us on the edge of our seats right throughout the year.

From Collegians claiming their 18th William Buck Premier title in emphatic fashion, to the return of Old Carey in Division 4 Women’s.

Dominant individual season that saw Johannah Griffin (Albert Park), and Justin Raiti (Hawthorn AFC) become three-time competition best and fairest winners.

Nick Armistead, a name familiar with the VAFA community has spent the past two years writing the story of VAFA legend, Laurie Aghan. He joins Josh and Joey in the studio to talk through Aghan’s life in football, as well as the year the Albert Park Falcons put together in Division 4.

Joshy’s Funnies round out this bumper edition of For the Love of the Game, the moments of 2023 that left us in hysterics.
