Manningham Cobras retained top spot on the Division 3 ladder with a comfortable 91-point victory over Parkside at Koonung Reserve. The Cobras were relentless from the outset with nine of the first 10 goals of the match and finished with 31 scoring shots to 10. Ayden Sukkel and Kane Maghamez top-scored with four goals each for the Cobras, while Finn O’Dowd was named best afield for the second time this season. Kobi Howes and Jonathan Friel were standouts for the Red Devils as they sit seventh with two wins.

Aquinas proved too strong for Westbourne Grammarians in their Round 9 match-up, running out 80-point winners at Aquinas College. Leading by 21 points at the main break, the Bloods exploded in the second half with 12 goals to three.
