The Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) and Holmesglen Institute are delighted to announce their expanded partnership in 2019 following Holmesglen’s commitment to a four-year jumper sponsorship of the competition.
A collaboration that began with a joint applied learning project, which progressed to a naming rights sponsorship of the Under 19’s competition in 2016, Holmesglen and the VAFA’s shared values have enabled the evolution of this relationship.
Holmesglen Chief Executive, Mary Faraone, said they are excited about the major partnership and building upon the last three years.
“Many members of the Holmesglen community play at VAFA clubs,” she said.
“Holmesglen and the VAFA share a strong connection with our communities and we are both committed to strengthening that connection over the next few years.”
Brett Connell, VAFA CEO, reiterated Faraone’s comments.
“It is great to build upon what has already been a highly-successful partnership,” Connell said.
“Holmesglen’s continued support of the VAFA has provided exceptional value for the Association and our clubs.”
Founded in 1982, Holmesglen is an award-winning Victorian-based TAFE which delivers over 500 certificates, diplomas and degrees from their eight campuses.
