VAFA video producer, William Spry, was recently acknowledged for his hard work and dedication to VAFA TV and the film industry by taking home four awards at the 2015 Australian Video Producers Awards.
Spry’s first-class production of the William Buck Grand Final between St Bernard’s and Old Trinity at Ikon Park garnered three awards for Best Multi-Camera Sporting Event, Best Online Live Stream Program as seen via VAFA TV and Best Community Television Program as seen via Channel 31.
Furthermore, his production of the William Buck Preliminary Final one week prior earned recognition as Best Single Camera Sporting Event.
Spry has been at the forefront of VAFA TV for many years and helped develop it into the first-class production it is today.
VAFA Tragics was nominated for Best Use of Online Media at the recent AFL Victoria Community Media Awards with Spry and Andrew Leonard at the helm of the four-camera production.
