Just one game separates third and sixth after Round 11 of Premier Men’s action. Ladder leaders Old Brighton saw off a stiff challenge to their 14-game winning streak at Brighton
The VAFA is delighted to announce that Michael Brown has won the award for Junior Coach of the Year for 2012.
Brown led De La Salle’s triumphant Under 19 team to the U19 Premier Section premiership in a 40 point win over Old Xaverians.
The grand final result was a reversal of the previous year’s result and turned around the semi final loss to the same opponents, earning the club and indeed Brown as coach some redemption.
De La Salle completed the season with 17 wins and 4 losses and claimed their sixth U19 premiership in the past nine seasons.
Congratulations to Michael and he will be presented with the award at the AGM on Monday 3rd December.
