CAMBRIDGE PARTNERSHIP SUITS VAFA

By VAFA · July 12, 2013
CAMBRIDGE PARTNERSHIP SUITS VAFA

The VAFA is excited to welcome Cambridge Clothing Company as its official menswear partner and naming rights sponsor of the VAFA Medal presentation night.
Cambridge Clothing Company was founded in New Zealand in 1867. By the end of the nineteenth century Cambridge had mastered the art of making clothes well, turning settlers into gentlemen but without the Saville Row price tag.
Cambridge Clothing Company houses five distinctive brands: Joe Black, Gibson, Cambridge Kit, Dom Bagnato and Cambridge. All brands feature a range of formal and smart casual wear. There is a brand to suit all men of the VAFA.
VAFA CEO, Michael Sholly, stated “There is a natural synergy between the two organisations. Both formed in the 19th century, both with the mission of bringing out confidence in men, both with an insistence on quality and class, and both with a focus on men’s mental health. The VAFA are delighted Cambridge Clothing Company have aligned themselves with us.”
The VAFA will work with Cambridge to increase awareness of the five brands throughout metropolitan Melbourne as it launches an innovative way for men to shop in major retailers, Myer and David Jones. Cambridge will feature prominently at the Big V function in August and the VAFA presentation night in September.
Andrew Coutts, Director of Marketing, said “Once discussions began with the VAFA we quickly realised their goals and values resonated strongly with our own.  Our garments are designed and tailored to bring out confidence in men.  All of our brands will find a perfect fit within all segments of the VAFA community.  This partnership will allow Cambridge to enhance our reputation throughout Melbourne and beyond.”
Cambridge Clothing Company has a strong social conscience, particularly in the area of men’s mental health.  As an extension to the partnership, Cambridge will generously support our men’s health charity, One in Five.
The VAFA look forward to a long and prosperous partnership with Cambridge Clothing Company.
