On the VAFA’s night of nights at the Telstra Dome, Jack Watts (Uni Blues) with 20 votes took out the A Section Best and Fairest for 2008 in front of his brother Fergus who took out the JD Anderson medal for the Leading Goalkicker in A Section.

Well there were plenty of doubters and this scribe was leading the charge but Collegians proved that they are still very much the real deal, thrashing Old Xavs by 57 points today.
