Emmaus St Leo’s will continue their outstanding support for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) on Saturday May 11th as they host their fourth consecutive Ladies Luncheon in their newly opened Bennettswood Pavilion.
Since the inception of this annual event, an initiative which began following the tragic passing of Cathy Davis in early 2015 – wife of club vice-president Glen, and mother to Michael, Harry and Sam – the Animals community have raised an awe-inspiring $56,185 to aid various breast cancer research organisations, the last two years of which has been for the NBCF.
Averaging approximately 140 female attendees each year to date, this year’s luncheon will feature a three hour gourmet canapes and drinks package, a Silent Auction, plus a keynote address by breast cancer survivor Katherine Sroka from the NBCF.

From everyone in the VAFA community, we would like to extend a huge congratulations to the Emmaus St Leo’s community for their fantastic fundraising efforts towards eliminating breast cancer. We look forward to seeing the men’s and women’s teams, known as the Animals and Animalettes, don the custom pink jumpers with pride on Saturday!
