Just one game separates third and sixth after Round 11 of Premier Men’s action. Ladder leaders Old Brighton saw off a stiff challenge to their 14-game winning streak at Brighton
Four goals in a best-on-ground performance against Old Melburnians has earned Collegians’ young gun, Nathan Boucher, the Round 11 Grill’d Rising Star nomination.
What the club said:
“Nathan is in his first season at Collegians after finishing school in 2017 and being an integral part of the Wesley College first XVIII over the past few years.
Nathan plays his football a lot like GWS star Josh Kelly. He has tremendous speed and has built his game around constant pressure. He has the flexibility of playing as both an inside and outside midfielder and is also a very dangerous forward who knows how to find the big sticks.
Nathan is renowned for his commitment and passion towards his teammates and enjoying the success of others at the club. He’s a very smart mature footballer for an 18-year-old who has a very bright football career ahead.
Nathan was injured in his final year of school and TAC season in 2017 and is now starting to show what he can do and is now fully fit.”
