Collegians FC recently announced Shane Joyce resigned from his position as senior coach.
Joyce, who came to the club from the VFL in 2016, led the Lions to finals in three of his four years as coach, including two grand final appearances in 2017 and 2018 against St Kevin’s OB.
In a post on Instagram, the club wrote “Shane explained that with a new job and his boys growing up he needed to invest his time into these important parts of his life and he couldn’t give the time required to the football club that is needed”.
“Shane has been very upfront with us the whole time and has been a terrific leader of Collegians FC.”
The VAFA congratulates and thanks Shane for his service to Collegians and to the Association.
Collegians are now on the hunt for a new senior coach ahead of the 2021 William Buck Premier season. Further information on the role and how to apply can be found HERE
