The VAFA congratulates Jake Dempster from Power House FC, who has received the Anytime Fitness Rising Star nomination for Round 7. Jake Dempster has found some form in recent weeks after breaking into the Senior side in Round 2. He was instrumental in Power House’s 249-point rampage on the weekend, playing a crucial role around the ground.
What the club said:
Jake played his junior football with the Echuca Bombers and has moved to Melbourne pursuing work opportunities as a carpenter. Jake has fitted into Power House seamlessly and is a humble young man who expresses himself on the football field. He possesses excellent foot skills on both sides of the body and is a great asset on the wing and more recently as an attacking player out of defence.
Power House coach, Jeff Scotland adds that “Jake is eminently coachable and embraces every role thrown at him with enthusiasm and diligence. His character, skill and football acumen are first class and we can see Jake leading our midfield in the years to come!”
