The AFL is inviting coaches of all levels to take part in the 2009 National Coaches Conference to be held in Melbourne on Jan 30th to Feb 1st. The conference theme, ‘Coaching Effectiveness’, focuses on strategies to ensure coaches are effectively delivering on their coaching goals and objectives.

The VAFA is Melbourne wide, has excellent umpiring training programs & a high standard of football. It is a great football competition to start your umpiring career. Over the last 10 years 17 VAFA Umpires have gone into VFL/AFL Umpiring.
