This week’s Rising Star Peter McGettigan played his junior football for the Cheltenham Junior Football Club often playing against his St Bedes/Mentone Tigers school mates. After joining TAC side Sandringham Dragons, Peter quickly nominated the Tigers as his senior club, and over the past three seasons has played for the Tigers U19’s and seniors when available. After two successful seasons with Sandy VFL, including a number of ones games, Peter decided to join his brother Michael and his school mates at Brindisi Street.
With eight appearances in the best players and 37 goals on the board, Pete has consistently produced when it counts.
