Rick, who has previously played with Gisborne and under Bradley Gotch at Williamstown in the VFL, has been an assistant coach at UHSVU for the past two seasons.
Rick will be supported primarily by Jordan O’Neil as assistant coach, while Paddy Higgs will also continue to be involved with the coaching panel, with a particular focus on the under 18s and younger players on the list.
Rick’s professionalism, planning and consistent hard work have impressed the committee since joining the club in 2007. The committee is confident that all players will rally behind him and produce terrific results next season and beyond.
The club would like to acknowledge the efforts of Scott Whyte over the past two years. Scott boasts a terrific coaching record, highlighted by the premiership win in 2007. We sincerely thank him for everything he has achieved and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
