PHIL GAUT TO COACH OLD PARADIANS

By VAFA · October 30, 2008
PHIL GAUT TO COACH OLD PARADIANS

Richard has been Phil’s Senior assistant coach at Old Trinity Amateur Football Club – A Grade in 2006 and 2007. Richard played at Heidelberg Football Club from 1985 to 1994, winning the B&F 4 times and also selected in the clubs Team of the Century.
Peter Cosgriff has been a loyal and passionate Old Paradian for over 23 years, as both a senior player and more recently as the reserves coach over the past number of seasons.
The club are also proud to announce Paul Gregor, an Old Paradian, as coach of the Reserves for the 2009 season. Paul has been the Reserves and senior assistant coach at Eltham Old Collegians over the past number of years and previous to that Reserves and Senior assistant at Kew Amateurs and Under 19’s coach at St Leo’s Emmaus.
Paul is also a long time supporter of the Old Paradians. He was involved
with the club back in the 1980’s and has kept a keen eye on results ever since. He has been a Fightback member over the last 2 seasons. Paul’s motivation to return to the club is based on the fact he is excited by the momentum being generated and he wants to be a part of it.
Finally, the club has appointed Nick Wilson as the Under 19’s coach for 2009. Nick played football at Collegians up until 2006. In 2005 he coached Under 16’s at East Malvern Junior Football Club and was the coach of the 3rd XVIII at Wesley College. He is currently studying Arts at Melbourne University.
The Committee believe that with the experience, professionalism and leadership that Phil and the other coaches bring to the Old Paradians Football Club, combined with the current group of loyal and passionate players, the club is set for an exciting and successful year ahead in 2009.
