2025 Flag Feature – Tonner time at last!
Old Brighton entered the 2025 Premier Men’s competition as both the hunter AND the hunted. Externally, the club was widely seen as the clear premiership favourite, yet internally, the Tonners
Lex is a widely experienced coach having coached in the EDFL and country competitions. He is also experienced at the administration level having been a club president.
Assistant Senior / Reserves Coach – Matt Ashenden.
Matt is a level 2 qualified coach. He has experience at the TAC level having performed roles at the Dandenong Stingrays, Eastern Rangers and Western Jets football clubs. Matt has also been an assistant coach at the open age level as well as a senior player at country club level.
The Bentleigh Football Club is extremely excited that two very well qualified and credentialed people are going to be responsible for coaching their young list.
