Mark has become a well known and respected figure at the club since coming down in 2006. Mark’s most productive years as a footballer have been playing seniors football at Division 1 level in the EFL and a year in the VFL at the Coburg FC under Coach Andrew Collins.
Mark’s aspiration to coach at BHN took shape in 2007 after being appointed coach of the reserves but extenuating circumstances meant that he had to step down from this role early in the season. His love and passion for the club has grown immensely and he very much looks forward to the challenge and building on the strong foundations laid before him.
Over the coming weeks Mark and the Box Hill North Executive Committee will be working together to confirm the reserves and assistant coaches. Mark will also outline his plans for pre-season and the 2009 season proper at a meet the coach evening to be held Elgar Park next Wednesday 19th November, starting at 8:30pm. Any prospective recruits for 2009 are welcome to attend.
