Big V Weekend is here!
Representative football weekend is upon us, starting with Thursday’s Big V Gala Dinner, then Saturday’s two massive matches against PFL at VAFA HQ and finishing with Sunday’s matches at Bendigo.
RIP PETER NATHAN
The VAFA suffered a sad loss on Friday night when Peter Nathan passed away after a short illness.
“Nartz”, as he was known to so many, served on the Executive from 1975 to 1986 and has been a popular figure at St Bernard’s for many years.
He acted as team manager for several Big V teams and was a regular at Big V reunion functions.
Sincere condolences to the Nathan family.
