For all those local footy legends lamenting the AFL career that could have been, here’s a chance to strap on the boots and play alongside AFL’s biggest names with the EJ Whitten Legends Game undertaking a nation-wide search for local footy heroes to take part in the game at Etihad Stadium on Tuesday 5 July 2011.
Now in its 16th year and having raised over $1million dollars in support of prostate cancer research, the EJ Whitten Legends Game is steeped in history with many local footy legends having played on the big stage with past AFL champions.
With two guernseys up for grabs, one Victorian and one Allstars jumper, two lucky players selected for their passion, performance and commitment to their local club, will have the chance to play at the elite level and shine alongside some true footy legends with more than 20,000 people looking on from the stands as well as a huge television audience.

Entrants must be registered player with a club and each nomination requires a $10 donation to the EJ Whitten Foundation to assist with prostate cancer research.
