SATURDAY SKINNY R9

COLLS BRUSH ASIDE ZIPLESS XAVS
Collegians returned to their best with a crushing win over Xavs at Sportscover today. The Red ‘n’ Blacks were thoroughly outpaced and outclassed by the Lions, who showed a hunger for the ball and the contest that was seemingly lacking in the reigning premier, which now finds itself outside the four. Nick Sautner booted seven on his return to the Trotters’ line-up. Uni Blues overcame an early deficit to defeat Old Carey by 40 points at University Oval. De La Salle worked its way out of trouble and beat Old Trinity by 35 points, with Brett Eddy kicking eight, while Old Melburnians fought back from early trouble but fell to Old Haileybury, who had five from Travis Ridgway.
In Premier B, Owen Weatherley kicked five as Old Ivanhoe outlasted St Bernard’s. Matt Bortolotto snagged five as Marcellin trounced Hampton Rovers. Caulfield Grammarians emerged the stronger in its GF rematch with Beauy. Old Brighton came from behind to over-run St Kevin’s. Blacks beat Oakleigh by two points with Jordy Foster tracking five for the Varsity.
In Premier C, an accurate Monash Blues drew with Old Camberwell. Will Pickering kicked five for Fitzroy, which was no match for Ormond.  Mazenod tipped Rupo by a point in a thriller at Sunbury, with inaccuracy proving costly for the home team. Werribee Districts had too much for Melbourne High, while David Fayman kicked twelve for the Jackers who touched up Old Essendon.
In Div 1, the road trip to Mt Eliza was too much for Whitefriars, who went down to Peninsula by 32 points. Alex Wood kicked five for the Pirates. Steve Rzek kicked six for the Vultures, who unloaded on Old Geelong, who got six from Callum Wood. Dave Boundy was BOG with five goals as Paradians beat Mentonians. Ladder leader Banyule got seven from Hash Brown in defeating Willy. Todd Patterson got five as NOBSPC beat Bulleen-Temp.
South Melbourne Districts got seven from Adam Ray, but lost to St Mary’s Salesian who had five from Aaron Bailey. Elsewhere in Div 2, the Animals beat the Bloods, St John’s beat La Trobe in a GF rematch, Eltham hammered Old Westbourne and in the much anticapted table topper, Glen Eira beat Therry, with Glen Boyd kicking six and Tom Paterson five for the Eirans.
In Div 3, Prahran Assumption clouted Ivanhoe, Monash Gryphons beat Power House. Elsternwick bested West Brunswick, Mt Lilydale beat Hawthorn, and the Wine Men (Cam Britt five) wiped the Bankers. Goals galore for Kew (Andrew Brazzale seven, Tim Bagnall and Ben Altis five each) as da Bears beat UHSVU.
Ira Israel kicked ten and David “Sweet Music” Viola five as Eley Park slapped Chadstone. The Razorbacks beat the Cobras on the back of five from Chris Kilmartin. Division 4 leader SFX got six from Ben Spencer, just enough for them to beat North Brunswick, who got six from Pat Notaro. Christian Traeger slotted five as the Stationmasters beat Point Cook. Matt Blackmore kicked five as south Mornington pole-axed BHN.
