2011 VAFA Club Warehouse Rising Star Dan Garside (also SBMT) starts with Essendon on Wednesday.
The VAFA Elite Pathway program aims to place the VAFA’s better young players who are seeking to test themselves in higher company with AFL clubs who have standalone VFL teams.
Essendon, Collingwood and Geelong do not field teams in the VFL Reserves competition. Players with these clubs will play regularly in the VAFA but also will test their mettle against VFL veterans and AFL listed players when required.
