Geelong premiership coach Chris Scott and SEN Radio’s Mark Fine wowed the large gathering at the VAFA Season Launch in the MCC Members’ Dining Room last night.
Scott’s forthright thoughts on list management, culture and selflessness hit the mark with the large band of club presidents, secretaries and coaches.
Mark Fine toasted the VAFA and contrasted the experience of being a member at an AFL club to that of belonging to a community club.
VAFA Big V Doctor George Janko was awarded Life Membership of the Association, while eight long-serving club servants received the VAFA’s Certificate of Merit.
