De La Salle defeated Old Trinity at Sportscover this afternoon, totally dominating the final quarter and a half to run out winners by 58 points. Midway through the third stanza, Trinity kicked its eleventh goal without a miss and led the zipper Blue and Golds by 18 points.
The De La response was to add 11.11 to a solitary behind. Again, Andrew Ramsden was a major handful, booting six from the Ts’ first ten. but it was not enough. Trinity managed only a rushed behind in the final term.
Matthew "Mandy" Moore returned to the DLS lineup and with Sam Pickett, provided a great target for their  mosquito fleet. They kicked 3.6 and 3.5 respectively, inaccurate but still very effective.
De La is in second spot with the section’s best percentage, while the Greens are in eighth place.
