2025 Division 3 Women’s Team of the Year
Our VAFA Team of the Year series continues with Division 3 Women’s, as compiled by our reporter, Elly Kirlis, based on feedback and analysis from coaches, umpires and VAFA Media.
In case you missed it Chadstone Football Club won their first game in 69 games of football when they defeated Mt Lilydale on the weekend.
The win came 1828 days after their last win when the club was under the different name of Syndal Tally-Ho on August 9th in Round 17 2008.
They went past the four year mark without a win on Thursday, but the feeling was a positive one heading to the clash with 9th placed Mt Lilydale.
Celebrations went long into the night but the Synners face a tougher task this week as they travel to top of the table South Mornington.
Have a listen to Chadstone coach David Cafarella chatting to Triple M’s the Rush Hour below.
Be watching VAFA TV this week for the vision of the jubilation post siren.
David will also be on VAFA Footy Show on 96.5FM this Saturday morning from 9am.
