Following Gary McAlister and Harry Overman, St Bernard’s mourns the passing of another friend in Brad Stent.
Brad came to St. Bernards at the start of the 1990 season with Frank Dunell and John Newbold and was a part of the beginnings of “an exciting new era” at the club.
His initial role was as the “Fitness Coordinator” and he was the team Runner for a total of four years.
Brad was runner for the 1991 B Grade premiership team. A role that he has said was one of his life’s highlights.
In recent years Brad lived in Maroochydore operating his pool cleaning business. He kept a close eye on all at St. Bernards and the clubs progress.
Brad also flew down to attend “Legends Day” in recent years.
He remained close to the club. He will be sadly missed.
