Parkdale Vultures have claimed the Premier C Premiership with an 18 point win over Fitzroy.
The Vultures’ centre half back Matt Ryan won the Michael Ritterman Medal for best on the ground as he helped his side lead from start to finish in sunny conditions at Trevor Barker Oval.
Parkdale got out of the blocks early and were able to maintain their lead throughout despite being challenged at various times throughout the day.
The Vultures have now gone back to back premierships and promotions after winning the Division 1 flag in 2011.
Parkdale progress to their highest ever level in the VAFA with a Premiership flag behind them and will enter the 2013 season with plenty of optimism
