
Regrading and Fixture Update
With the opening four rounds of the 2025 season complete, the process of regrading and updating fixtures is well underway. The Football Operations team has been in communication with Clubs
Defender Tom Caven collected his second St Bernards club Best & Fairest after a close tussle with vice-captain Nick Cooke.
Tom a former product of the club’s junior program returned to his best form and enjoyed the challenge of taking on and beating the best forwards in Premier Section in 2012.
Tom’s great season has marked him as one of the premier backmen in the VAFA and his season was rewarded with being picked in the Premier Section team of the year.
Caven polled 29 votes to Cooke’s 22 votes and you can watch some vision of Caven’s season here.
Rhys Moylan won the club’s best first year player with Kieran Farrell claiming the Reserves Best and Fairest award.
The newly named Harry Overman Medal for the U19 Best and Fairest was won by Jack Saundry.
The medal honours St Bernards U19 player Harry who sadly passed away this season.
The U19 (2) Best and Fairest was won by Jack Notaro with the Thirds Best and Fairest being won by Justin Evans.
Ben Hogan won the Club XVIII B&F award with a Vinnie and Angela McGuire sharing the Best Clubman award.
