Premierships are difficult to win. There is no rocket science in that statement, Every year in the VAFA there are approximately 225 head coaches that might say those exact words when preparing their players for the season.
What is more difficult it seems is winning a senior premiership. Many of us have been blessed to play in junior premiership teams, but many would argue that whilst a junior glory was fond at the time, it’s senior glory that will be discussed with mates in a decade or more’s time. In the VAFA there are seven senior premierships up for grabs each year. In 2012 there were 25 premierships to play for so again this highlights
