St Kevin’s have pipped 2024 William Buck Premier Men’s & Women’s premiers Old Scotch in a thrilling Club Championship count to win a third consecutive award for the club. The
Saturday’s Thoroughbred Club day at Caulfield is a big one for the VAFA and our racing connections. With the VAFA featuring in race one thanks to our accounting partner William Buck who will sponsor the William Buck Joins VAFA Plate.
New VAFA Board Member and Treasurer Adam Kirkwood-Scott is a director at William Buck and is delighted to join with the VAFA in supporting a race.
The William Buck Joins VAFA Plate is the first race on the card, jumping at 12.30pm. Many of the other races on the card also have strong VAFA connections. Race 3, race 4 race 5 and race 8 all have strong VAFA connections with the companies supporting those races either sponsors of the VAFA or some of our clubs.
This week on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/VAFA.HQ) the VAFA has been giving away prize packs of tickets to Caulfield Racecourse to help celebrate the William Buck Joins VAFA Plate and expect a large crowd of VAFA people there to cheer on their horse at Saturday’s meet.
The final competition is is being run today, with the prize a pair of 2XU compression tights.
