The weather certainly didn’t prevent some big scores being kicked across the Divisions. However it was the Division 1 top of the table clash at Williamstown that saw the CY’s inflict a first loss of 2013 on Hampton Rovers.
Rovers still have top spot but will be thankful that a prospective final against the CY’s will be played at a neutral venue as they went down to the home side by 14 points.
Elsewhere in Division 1 Ormond continued their march toward a finals berth as they accounted for Bulleen Templestowe by 23 points.
MHSOBs crushed Glen Eira in the match between 9th and 10th. The 72 point win for the Unicorns might give them the confidence to build on for a late charge to escape the relegation places.
Prahran Assumption overcame Old Mentonians at Toorak Park to keep the pressure on the sides above them in the four. Cristoforo’s 3 goals were a stand out performance in the 21 point win.

Old Paradians had a fantastic win at Ivanhoe by a goal to move above them on the table. Paradians move out of the relegation places and jump to 7th. Ivanhoe drop to 8th.
Monash Gryphons have now dropped into Paradians 9th spot courtesy of their loss to St Mary’s Salesian by 7 points.
South Melbourne Districts enjoyed the wet conditions as they record one of their biggest wins of the year against bottom side Emmaus St Leos by 58 points.

In Division 3 Elsternwick made a mockery of the wet conditions as they thrashed South Mornington by 116 points at Elsternwick Oval No 2. Twelve Wicks players kicked a major but Oldfield’s five goals were the club house leader.
Kew trailed early and came from behind to defeat Albert Park by 25 points. The Bears go a game clear on top, whilst Albert Park remain a game outside of the six.
Top side UHS-VU were upset by Aquinas by 13 points. The loss sees the combine slip to third, whilst Aquinas are just 2% outside the six.
Lat Trobe University surprised St Francis Xavier to win by nine points, Mc Meel kicked four for the victors. SFX missed the chance to go third whilst La Trobe hold on to sixth.
Power House confirmed that Old Westbourne will be relegated from Division 3 with a 27 point win.
Richmond Central got their season back on track at the expense of Swinburne University. Central winning by 10 points in swamp like conditions.

Hawthorn defeated Manningham Cobras by 73 points to stay top ahead of the fast closing Sharks. The Cobras are 10th are now two games off the teams above them.
West Brunswick defeated Mt Lilydale by 35 points as Hulm kicked four goals in the win.
Northern Blues thrashed Dragons by 61 points in a virtual 8 point game. The Blues are now a game clear of both sixth and seventh.
