The VAFA’s Premier Section Grand Final is almost here and with the big game between Old Xaverians and St Bedes/Mentone Tigers is being covered by a variety of media.
As always 96.5 Inner FM will broadcast the match live from the first bounce with their pre-match coverage to start at 1pm for the complete build up. Also this year 98.9 North-West FM will simulcast the Inner FM call with Glenn Scarborough to join the Inner FM team of Michael Crooks, Ken Petrucco, John Kanis and Andrew Leonard throughout the day.
As with the Premier B Grand Final you will be able to watch a full replay of the Premier Grand Final on Channel 31 on Sunday 22nd September at 1pm. The entire match will be shown, so you can settle in on the couch on Sunday and watch the replay of all the previous day’s action. (Watch the C31 preview below).

The build up to the Premier Grand Final starts on Saturday morning with 96.5 Inner FM’s VAFA Football Show live from Sportscover Arena. The first hour of the show is scheduled to be a complete review of all last weekend’s Grand Finals. Each of the victorious senior clubs from last week will have a guest on the show so don’t miss the celebrations.
Then from 10-11am the preview of the big game starts, as Inner FM will speak to the coaches of both St Bedes/Mentone and Old Xaverians.
But wait, there’s more! On Sunday morning don’t forget to tune in to 88.3 Southern FM’s Tom Brain and Steve McCarthy, as they review all the action from Saturday on VAFA Sunday. It’s a perfect way to get your final VAFA fix before a long hot summer.
