
From formation to A-Grade: Old Geelong Women’s makes history
Old Geelong Football Club opened its 2025 season in historic fashion, with its women’s side marking their first year in the William Buck Premier competition with two wins straight out
De La Salle OC AFC is delighted to announce that Paul Satterley has been appointed senior coach for 2014.
Paul joins the club with a most impressive CV, which includes coaching experience in the AFL, VFL, TAC Cup and local football.
Most recently Paul has spent the past three seasons at the Melbourne Football Club in a variety of roles including Skill Coach, Forward Line Coach and High Performance. Prior to this Paul was Senior Coach at Werribee VFL in 2010/11 as well as Head Coach at Northern Knights TAC from 2006 to 2008. Paul also coached Hoppers Crossing to a WRFL Premiership in 2004.
Paul has a decorated playing career. He was drafted by the Western Bulldogs and was a listed player between 1992 and 1994 before moving to VFA side Werribee in ’95 and winning the Liston Trophy for Best and Fairest player in the competition.
De La Salle Club President Richard Williams said, “This is a terrific appointment for the Club, we are fortunate to have a person of Paul’s experience and attributes on board for 2014 and beyond.”
