ROUND 3: THE RESULTS OF DIVISION 1-4 MATCHES

Division 1 action saw NOB- St Pats record their second win of the year against Bulleen Templestowe who fall to a 1-2 record. NOBs St Pat’s secured the win by 9 points as 10 of their players kicked goals. 
Williamstown CYMS defeated MHSOB by 37 points to leave the Unicorns without a win in 2014. Conversely Willy are undefeated and one of the pace setters in the section.
The other pacesetter are Therry Penola who are also undefeated after they led all day and withstood a late charge by Whitefriars before closing out a 21 point win. 
Tucker kicked eight goals and Wood five as Old Geelong took the sword to Yarra Valley at Como Park by 52 points. 
Old Mentonians and Prahran Assumption played the close one with the Panthers withstanding a late fightback from the Two Blues to record a four point win. Hogarth kicked five in a losing cause for Prahran Assumption and Old Mentonians broke their duck in 2014. 

Old Eltham and St Mary’s Salesian were both undefeated heading into round 3 and this presented as the pick of the bunch in Division 2 matches. In the end the Turtles were too strong on home turf to deny the Saints by five goals, Ciavola kicked four. 
David Boundy booted another five goals as Old Paradians left Glen Eita still winless in Division 2. The green machine 37 points to the good of the Saints. 
Ivanhoe were eight goals in front when the final siren sounded against Elsternwick. Keke Blackmore-Moore bagged a half dozen of goals for the winners whilst Aaron Thornton’s five were not enough for the Wicks’. 
Promoted Kew are still chugging along nicely too as they defeated St Johns away from home by a relatively comfortable 33 points. Maibum (5 goals) and Allman (4) were on the end of plenty of good play from the Bears’ best mids. 
South Melbourne Districts got their season into gear with a 53 point win over Monash Gryphons. Bradford booted seven goals and Lane five as the Bloods overpowered the inaccurate Gyphs. 

Division 3 saw Aquinas overcome Eley Park Sharks by 36 points as Price kicked six goals for the winners. 
La Trobe University and Emmaus St Leo’s were both without a win entering today’s clash and it was a Jack McMeel (5 goals) inspired Uni side that held on for a 10 point win over the Animals. 
Richmond Central continued to set the pace by going 3-0 aginst the previously undefeated Northern Blues. The Snakes winning by a comfortable 39 points. 
Swinburne University pile more misery on South Mornington with the Razorbacks collecting percentage in their 140 point win. 
St Francis Xavier and Albert Park only had a goal separating the sides in a low scoring affair with the X-men taking their season to 2-1 whilst the Falcons fell back to 1-2. 
That wasn’t the closest match however as Power House fell an agonizing two points short of UHS-VU despite holding a lead at three quarter time. 
In Division 4,  West Brunswick proved too strong for Manningham Cobras with the Magpies victorious by 39 points. 
The Dragons are on the board in 2014 after they defeated North Brunswick by one straight kick. 
Hawthorn brought Canterbury back to earth with a thud. The Hawks delivering a 124 point win and Ince bear allcomers this round with a magnificent 12 goals. 
Dan Penny booted eight goals for Box Hill North in their first win of the season against Point Cook. The 29 point margin no more than the Demons deserved away from home. 
Westbourne Grammarians were too strong for Chadstone as they recorded a 64 point win away from home to conclude the round.
