Tom Russell – St Bernard’s OC
Young ruckman Tom Russell is in his first year of senior football. Tom is a product of the St Bernard’s Underage Program and Football Academy, after winning the B&F in the U19 Premier team last year, he has slotted in very well at senior level, with a number of strong performances.
Tom has played every senior game so far this year, and recently played first ruck in the VAFA U23 rep team’s big win in Tasmania. In the off season, Tom keeps fit playing high level tennis, no doubt his considerable wing span would make him a fierce opponent at the net.
St Bernard’s are delighted to have such a high calibre young man like Tom Russell at the club, and everyone both at St Bernard’s and the VAFA is looking forward to seeing Tom’s development continue in the coming seasons.
