ANDY MAHER CHATS ABOUT HIS VAFA DAYS AT MARCELLIN

SEN 1116’s Morning Glory breakfast host of the past decade, Andy Maher has become a staple voice to listen to for all sports lovers in that time. So with Andy a specialist at spinning a sporting yarn on radio, he was an obvious choice to have as the VAFA Football show’s special guest on 96.5 Inner FM last Saturday.
Andy joined the team to talk all things VAFA and most importantly to reflect on his his playing days with Marcellin in the 1980’s and early 1990’s.
Andy was a very good footballer for Marcellin and in 1983 had kicked 97 goals coming into the Grand Final. Listen to the podcast below to hear whether Andy managed to get there as well as reflecting on his time writing for the Amateur Footballer.
