The 8th Annual Big V Club Lunch, proudly brought to you by SEN 1116, will be held on Friday 1 August at Melbourne’s RACV Club in Bourke St in the CBD. The event has grown each years since its inception in 2007 and this year promises to be another fantastic event.
Three new names will be inducted into the Big V Club as official Champions of the Big V: Duncan Anderson (University Blues) played for the Big V from 1950-56; Michael Blood (Old Xaverians) played from 1994-99; and Andrew Ramsden (Old Trinity) played from 1998-2005.
The inductions of these champions will be be the highlights of the day, but the day is also about celebrating and re-uniting with past team mates and friends from the Big V teams of yesteryear. This year the reunion teams of 1964, 1974, 1984, 1994 and 2004 will all be in attendance.
The lunch will hosted by MC Tony Wilson and the day commences at midday with the formal ceremonies complete by 3.30pm.
Tickets are $110 and include a two course lunch and drinks throughout the day and dress requirements apply also.
Everyone is welcome and if you have ever pulled on that famous Big V jumper then this is a lunch not to be missed.
