The VAFA Board have confirmed that the Premier Grand Final will return to its traditional Sunday slot with the Premier B and Premier C Grand Finals to be played on the Saturday of the same weekend.
After a two year trial period of having a stand alone Premier Grand Final on the Saturday the Board felt that the VAFA community, whilst responsive to a stand alone Grand Final, still preferred the Premier Grand Final to be played on a Sunday.
The return of the Premier Grand Final to a Sunday means the Premier B and Premier C Grand Finals will also return to their traditional Saturday slots the day before the Premier decider. This packages up the top three premier sections into one action packed weekend.
The Board has also determined that the Division Grand Finals will all be played on the weekend prior, therefore all the Premier sections will need an extra bye in the season to accommodate this.
