Former Ormond coach and Box Hill Hawks Premiership player Brett Rowe has been announced as the 2015 senior coach of the Yarra Valley Bushrangers.
Following a decorated career in VFL and EF, Rowe arrives at the Bushrangers with five years coaching experience after he recently finished up at Ormond.
Rowe joins the Bushrangers on the back of the glowing endorsement of former coach and club champion Rob Drew, “Brett is a quality person, and his football pedigree is top shelf” he said.
Rowe was first identified by Drew, and was selected as the best of a talented group of candidates that applied.
“Brett’s communication style and ability to relate to all types of footballer aligned with where our playing group are at the moment. We have a strong core of young, quality footballers who need to learn and develop into senior footballers, Brett is more than capable of providing that”, said incoming Bushranger President Michael Wines.
Brett Rowe will be presented as senior coach at a function at Yarra Valley Grammar on Wednesday the 29th of October, with all players, supporters and family welcome to attend. For more information, head to www.yvobfc.com.au.
