Emmaus St Leo’s blitz of the opening term against Hawthorn at Rathmines Rd setup the Animals’ 72 point win over the Hawks. Six goals to Buluszar and four each to Paul Baranello and Harding were the cause of most of the Hawks’s headaches. Hawthorn in unfamiliar territory of propping up the ladder.
