Ivanhoe look more and more likely to finish the home and away season atop the Division 2 ladder following their 38-point victory against Monash Gryphons at Ivanhoe Park. Trailing by three points at the main break, 11 goals to four in the second half ensured the comeback for the Hoes as Justin Harty kicked five of his own in a best-on-ground performance.
Northern Blues made it four wins on the trot with a 73-point demolition of MHSOB at W.R. Ruthven Reserve. Lachlan McRedmond kicked six for the Blues, taking his overall tally to 53 for the season and third on the goal kicking table. Nick Hawking stood tall for the Unicorns with four majors at the other end. The Blues still sit outright fourth, but have Eltham Collegians breathing down their neck.

Leading by just six points at the last break, the Raiders ran riot and kicked 12 unanswered goals to finish out the match. James Kandilakis was the main recipient, kicking six goals in the win and ensuring the Raiders keep third spot on the ladder.
