Multicultural Round Ambassador: Nawid Zaher (Kew)

Multicultural Round is upon us. As such, we at VAFA HQ wish to celebrate those within our league from diversified cultures and ethnicities, and recognise them for the role they play in our association.

Our latest edition centres on one of Kew Bears’ most mercurial players, Nawid Zaher.

“Nawid Zaher plays for the Kew Bears, and was born in Afghanistan. He is a commerce graduate, a versatile half forward flanker and now an employee at ANZ.

One of the great blokes at Kew Football Club, Nawid is one of the classiest players in the Division 1 reserves, and has played a bunch of games in the seniors.”
